✅ Install chimney caps (sometimes called cowls) to prevent smaller owls getting trapped in chimneys
⚠️ Remove garden nets (owls get trapped in them)
⚠️ Take down soccer nets when not in use (see above)
✅ Leave dead trees standing (to provide nest holes and calling perches for owls)
✅ Let your lawns grow! (Mowed grass doesn’t support the species owls prey on)
